Overview

Titipku Jatiper is an app that used by Jatiper in Titipku ecosystem. Jatiper receive orders from the Customers and process them on the designated delivery date and time.

As a UI/UX Designer at Titipku who worked in Jatiper, I did several tasks from research, design new features, enhance and fix minor bugs of existing interfaces.

Start from Research

The product has been launched before i joined the company. Therefore, i tried to contribute by conducting a research to gather insights from our Jatiper. And also discovering any pain points or opportunities to make the product better.

Together with my Product Manager, we created a survey and share it to Jatiper.

Some of the questions are:

• How many orders you receive in a day?

• If you were late to deliver the order, what troubled you?

• What did the customers complaint to you?

• What obstacle did you encounter when process orders at the market?

• What features/information do you need but not included in the app?

• How often you recommend the app to your colleagues?

Findings

• Jatiper sometimes withdraw their balance to several bank/e-wallet accounts.

• Replacing an out of stock product is time-consuming, Jatiper need to stroll around the market.

• Some Jatiper were often considered late in delivering orders. They actually didn’t.

Case Study 1:

Balance Withdrawal

Problem Statement

Jatiper withdraw their balance to several bank/e-wallet accounts. They need to change the account information every time they want to do this.

Possible Solution

Enhance the process of balance withdrawal by letting Jatiper save bank/e-wallet accounts they oftenly used.

Design Process

Domain Knowledge

To dig deeper information regarding Jatiper, I ask some questions related to their behavior to the

Operation team. Since they are the department that directly contact the Jatiper.

Benchmark Analysis

To save time in this research phase, I checked some relevant popular products to see if I can adopt the withdrawal as an improvement to our product. I believe this pattern is well-researched by those products so we can safely implement this to our app including the user experience.

Case Study 2:

Replacing an out of stock product

Problem Statement

It is too time-consuming to replace an out of stock product. Jatiper need to stroll around the market and ask each store for the product’s availability.

Possible Solution

Providing a feature to search the same product from another store. So Jatiper can immediately pick up the replacement.

Design Process

Domain Knowledge

I created User Persona based on the last research i did for this case as my guide to design appropriate solution to Jatiper.

Replace out of stock product flow

With this feature, we hope we can help Jatiper to replace an out of stock product immediately. So they only need to open the app and search for the same product in another store. This is also benefits the business as well because when Jatiper choose the replacement product, it will be counted as a new product and we are not losing our profit from the product’s margin.
